Some breaking news about a school-board member...

it appears that a member of the WCSB was arrested yesterday for assaulting a senior ctiizen back in Feb., you can find it at courtbar.org. That's what he was actually tied up with yesterday when he was a no-show to the meeting, not on his way to Richmond apparently. Comes after an incident the other week when another member told a very well respected lady to "take it outside" during a debate the two were having.

I was told it would be in the BSG Post tomorrow and of course the Coalfield Friday. Class 1 misdemeanor.

That is what it is listed as in the case file. I certainly would have liked to have been at that meeting when it happened.

His court date is next week also, I wonder if he'll show Monday? If he's convicted, I don't know how he could show face again, I'd resign. But hell, there's a convicted felon charged with kidnapping that speaks at every meeting.

From what I heard it will be thrown out. This is a political stunt by a certain person to bring this up just before the elections.

Off subject, anyone know the person who faked having cancer just so his girlfriend wouldn't break up with him? I heard this today.

Makeing no judgments it seemed to me that many on the Anti side were on the verge of promoting violents to further there agenda for quite awhile now so IF true I sadly cant say that it suprises me in the least

What I find funny (In a sad way) is that it looks like we are looking at the 3(well 2.5) new schools again.....I rember Perry and the SB presenting this plan a year ago with the plan to keep the 3 small schools open while they were being built......It seems that the Anti side acomplished nothing but closeing down there schools ahead of schedule

Did I mention consolidation in this thread? NO!!! I metioned someone faking cancer and this hits me hard. My father died of lung cancer and seeing him go through the pain he did was hard and hearing that someone faked cancer just so his girlfriend wouldn't break up with him is bad. I wish no bad things on anyone but if any of your loved ones get cancer remember this.

Been there, done that. Both ways, but nobody faked it in my family. Just didn't see what that had to do with this thread. It shoul have been a different thread altogether. Again, another one of those friends of the former poster we won't name aloud.
